Exhibition
“Deyrolle, Anatomy Lessons

April 9 to November 1, 2026

With the “Deyrolle, Anatomy Lessons” exhibition at Château de La Bourdaisière, let’s take action to better understand and care for our bodies!

For its third edition, the Deyrolle Anatomy Lessons exhibition has been enriched around the theme of “Moving well, eating well, thinking well”, with the ambition of encouraging the adoption of healthier lifestyle habits to best preserve our body, our first capital.

An exhibition that transforms our lifestyle into a physical experience.
At a time when lifestyle-related illnesses are exploding and mental health is becoming a major issue
, Deyrolle proposes a radical interpretation: our body functions like an ecosystem, in relation with its environment
.
Our body is the first ecological territory. So what if taking care of ourselves already means taking care of the living
?

Deyrolle, anatomy lessons | Château de la Bourdaisière

La Bourdaisière, a superb 70-hectare estate, is a laboratory and a venue for numerous exhibitions.

Through 8 artistic and educational stages, Deyrolle, Anatomy Lessons takes place mainly in the Château’s grounds, but also takes visitors on a tour of its mysterious cellars. The trail also echoes Deyrolle’s famous anatomical plates, which were the first educational and historical plates published by Deyrolle in the second half of the 19th century. This immersive journey combining Nature, Art and Education is designed for all, young and old, with an emotional as well as scientific approach.

The exhibition is the brainchild of Louis Albert de Broglie, owner of the premises and Deyrolle, a committed entrepreneur. It reflects his vision of reconciling Humanity and the Environment, and links the health of the body with the environment: because the health of human beings is closely linked to the health of the planet. Doctor Gérald Kierzek, emergency physician and medical director of Doctissimo, author of Deyrolle, Leçons d’anatomie, with a preface by Louis Albert de Broglie (ed. Albin Michel), is the exhibition’s medical advisor.

Professor Elisabeth Dion, Head of the Imaging Department at Hôtel-Dieu de Paris and a specialist in the skeleton and muscles, is also accompanying the exhibition. She is also in charge of the
commission for teleradiology and telemedicine at the Assistance Publique des Hôpitaux de Paris.

Anaelle Frelon, Dietician Nutritionist, has joined the health expertise committee for this third edition.

Enhanced this year by the notions of well-being, nutrition and physical activity, the exhibition encourages us to reconsider our body as a biodiversity in its own right, to be cared for and learned about, because our body is our most important asset.

In line with school curricula and CSR issues, it also opens its doors to classes and companies alike.

Deyrolle, Leçons d’anatomie, pour bien bouger, bien se nourrir et être bien dans sa tête. Because we need to take care of people and take care of the planet!

An immersive 8-stage trail combining Science, Art and Nature, enhanced this year by a “Well-being” trail with 9 new inter-stages.
