Weddings at the Château

Mariage au chateauRight in the center of the Loire Valley, the Château de la Bourdaisière is an exceptional site for a fairy tale wedding.

LIt all starts when one reaches the entrance of the Estate, the Château being located further up on the hill. The wedding ceremony can start with a cocktail on the XVI° century terrace, overlooking the box brodery garden.

Later, dinner is served in the 320 square metre ‘vaulted François Ier’s banquet hall’, of impressive ‘Tuscan architecture’ that is unique in the Loire Valley. The hall can accommodate up to 300 guests, but an extension on the terrace with a Marquee allows us to receive up to 600 people.

The château itself can house up to 50 guests overnight.



The ‘Princess to be’ forfait’ includes :

The use of the François Ier banquet hall, its accommodations, kitchen, toilets are available up to 6 am.

The use of the 18 rooms and 2 appartments with breakfast offered to all guests.

It also includes, the lighting of the château and the outbuildings, the use of the François Ier room the next morning, if a lunch is organized and the use of the terrace for cocktails.

Rate : 8 000 euros TTC

Mass in the Château’s chapel :

The chapel within the  Estate, just at the bottom of the property, can be  used for celebrating the wedding in intimate surroundings.

Also, an alter set up outside ‘the American way’, could be organized in the gardens, especially at the end of the romantic XVI° century ‘Italian alley’.




The François Ier banquet hall

Ideal to receive your guests in a very convivial but prestigious ambiance, this vaulted 320 square metre hall was build in the XVII° century in lime stone (tuffaud stone). It has direct access to a smaller room (40 sqm), a kitchen, toilets and a cloak room. The excellence of the acoustics makes it an ideal place for a concert or dancing.
