A la Sainte Catherine, tout bois prend racine

 

 On the second weekend of November, the château of la Bourdaisière and the Jardiland institute invite 100 families on the new orchard of the estate. Each family will plant and adopt a fruit tree. Located behind the Dahliacolor, this orchard is made of ancient varieties of plum, cherry, pear and cherry-plum trees.

Every family who feels concerned by nature's preservation can be a candidate for the tree adoption. They will give their name to the tree by putting a plaque by the tree's roots. Every participating family will be invited to come back twice year: once in summer during the "Tomato Festival" and once in autumn during the "Tree and Family Celebration".
Once the tree will bear fruits, the kids can harvest them, enjoy their flavour, and take a basket of the crop home!
