The tomato bar and dinner of la Bourdaisière

Open-air kitchens at the heart of the kitchen garden and dinners in unforgettable places

For guests and visitors to the chateau, the kitchen garden and the orchard provide numbers of plants, fruit, vegetables, aromatic herbs and medicinal plants to be harvested and enjoyed. Tomato juice and fresh fruit from the garden, medicinal plant infusions, amazing and very original soups and salads, and plates of typical local fresh products, (goat cheese, greaves, Touraine gelin hen….) are available for tasting near the Dahliacolor.
From the end of May until the end of October, the “ Tomato Bar©” offers the wonders of the kitchen garden are pushed to the limits with the inspiration of the chefs ……. that will please the « locavores »* ! Juices from 8 Euros, shortbread with tomato sorbet from 10 Euros and tomato salads from 15 Euros.

In order that you may create your own tomato bar, gardeners are also available to visitors to give advice on growing and organic gardening whilst respecting the traditions of market gardening.

* People who have chosen to consume food products that are found mainly within a radius of less than 250 km, out of respect for the environment.
